Stuffed Bell Peppers

Stuffed Bell Peppers


  • 6 Bell peppers
  • 1kg Lean ground beef
  • 2 Medium onions (chopped)
  • 3 Medium carrots (grated)
  • 1 Can of spaghetti sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon of herb mix
  • 6 Tablespoons of grated cheese (I used cheddar and mozzarella)


Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

In a frying pan put carrots and onions, once onions are translucent add beef.

Meanwhile wash peppers, cut the tops out and carefully remove the interior seeds.

Once the meat is almost ready add spaghetti sauce and herb mix. Cook the meat until it is ready.

Divide the sauce equally between the peppers, filling them almost to the top. Put tops back on peppers.

Bake peppers for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and add cheese on the top of each pepper (Bake without pepper tops). Return to oven for about 5 minutes until cheese melts.

Remove from the oven, let it cool and enjoy.
