Bacon On A Date

Serving Size: 2-3 people


  • 8 pitted dates
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 4 slices of chorizo (cut in half)
  • 4 tablespoons of blue cheese
  • 80g of Greek yoghurt
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of lime juice
  • Ginger (to taste)
  • Pistachio (to taste)
  • Pepper


Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

Stuff half of the dates with blue cheese and the other half with chorizo.

Wrap each date with bacon.

Place dates on a baking sheet and bake for around 20-25 minutes or until bacon is dark brown and crispy.

When you are halfway through the baking process, turn around them.

Meanwhile make the sauce.

Blend ginger and pistachios together.

Mix Greek yoghurt together with ginger, pistachios, lime juice, honey and pepper.

Serve dates hot with sauce
